michelle found success with amazon’s career choice

Michelle Colby, a Health Sciences major at TCC, is taking full advantage of the Amazon Career Choice Program. After working for Amazon for a while, she decided to return to college through Amazon’s career choice opportunities.

“I appreciate that Amazon pays the tuition up front instead of a reimbursement program. It is an easy process, and Amazon pays up to $5,250 a year for full time employees. With TCC being so affordable, I haven’t had to pay anything above the max amount career choice has allotted. This has made going back to school so much more enjoyable without having to worry about how to pay for it.”

  • Any student planning to use VA benefits must take the Virginia Placement Test (VPT) in order for the VA to pay for developmental classes in Math or English. For students in medical programs where the NAS2 course is required, students must take the NAS2 challenge exam in order for the VA to pay for NAS2.
  • If English is your second language, please take the English as a Second Language (ESL) Placement Test.
